HTM, the largest independent property management company in Niseko, Hokkaido is looking for an Owner Liaison Office to join our property management team. The role will involve communicating with property owners and making sure their experience of ownership in Niseko with HTM is hassle-free. The position supports the organization by: - ensuring all HTM owners receive prompt and accurate responses to their questions - are able to make reservations in their property - understand the financial and occupancy performance of their property, and - receive "hassle-free" service in all aspects of their property ownership (tax, legal requirements, maintenance etc) While the majority of communication with owners is by email, the role will also require the successful applicant to talk over the phone and meet owners in person. Most owners communicate in English (although often as a second language), while communication within HTM and the Owner/Property team will be in a mix of English and Japanese. The Owner Liaison role is varied and challenging and HTM is a modern, fast-growing company located in the beautiful Niseko ski resort. While some skills are required, enthusiasm for the role and willingness to learn will be valued almost as highly as existing skills and knowledge. HTM has study support programs in place and in-depth training on our systems will be provided. Required Skills - Business level English - Business level Japanese - Enthusiasm for the role and willingness to learn - Japanese driving license (or ability to get one) - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Gmail, comfortable learning new systems) Preferred Skills - Experience of property management - Experience of guest service in a hospitality environment - Experience of Niseko or other resorts Employment Period: year round Employment Status: 12 months full time contract. There will be the opportunity to change to a permanent contract after 12 months. Start Date: flexible Base Annual Salary: 2.5 to 3.5 million yen, depending on experience. Staff will be enrolled in the Japanese Health, Social and Employment insurance systems, as per Japanese law. HTM will pay 50% of those insurance costs.
