We are a well established company that own and run multiple properties and restaurant in central Hirafu, we will be looking for staff members that are team player, friendly, collected, problem solver and well organised with a keen eye for details. Applicants must have a good working attitude and etiquette, Qualifications are a bonus. Multiple positions are available: Year long position: • Hotel Manager Fluent in both Japanese and English is essential Driver licence and the confidence to drive on snow Minimum 3+ year’s prior experience in Hospitality (hotelier, guest service or restaurant) is essential National health insurance and pension negotiable, salary negotiable and depends on prior experience. Subsidised accommodation is available. • All Rounder (hotel/restaurant/cleaning/minor renovation or repair work) Proactive person Fluent in both Japanese (most important) and English (conversational) 2 years prior experience in hospitality (hotelier, guest service or restaurant) preferred. Driver licence and confidence to drive on snow is essential Subsidised accommodation is available. Seasonal staff (winter season) December/January to Mid/End March: • Restaurant ( Sous Chef, Head Barista, Head Bartender, Dining Manager) Our restaurant is a recent recipient of Tripadvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence 2016’ and will be aiming for better service to take care of our guests better. For Head Barista, we require the candidate to know the ratio and extraction of espresso by heart, taste, smell and visually. Also will be in charge of training of fellow baristas, a barista with prior V60, Aeropress and coffee based cocktail experience will have priority on thus position. For Sous Chef, a minimum of 3 years prior experience as a chef de cuisine/head chef/sous chef/chef de partie preferred. Must have the confidence to cover for the head chef from time to time. For Head Bartender, a minimum of 5 years working behind the bar and have a great conversational skill. Will be required to create a weekly special cocktail. Dining Manager, a minimum of 2 years in guest services/salesperson/hospitality industry. Valid working holiday visa or japanese resident/long term foreign residents is essential Competitive pay rate, the rate will be justifiable to prior experience/positions.
