The Company:
MyEcolodge opened in November 2015 and we have been steadily growing our reputation as one of the largest boutique lodges in Niseko, offering high quality budget accommodation, versatile facilities and a warm inviting environment. We have 68 rooms and 172 beds catering to travelers from all over the World.
The Position:
This year-round position is dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing. A typical work week is approximately 40 hours with greater flexibility during off-peak seasons.
We offer a Japanese Social Insurance Plan covering health, pension, unemployment and labour insurance, free accommodation and a Grand Hirafu Season Lift Pass. We also offer an attractive remuneration based on past experience.
Requirements:
This position requires.
• Bilingual (Japanese/English) individual OR multi-lingual couple. Other asian languages would be an advantage but not required.
• Ability to manage front desk, F&B and cleaning teams
• Maintain and enhance the reputation of MyEcolodge as the best budget level service in the Niseko region.
• Hospitality experience
• Adaptable, quick witted and driven individual(s) who have the ability to make calculated decisions in response to unexpected events.
• An understanding of our guest’s requirements and a passion for providing excellent service.
Responsibilities:
• Coordination of front and back office operational activities
• Answering of inquiries pertaining to the lodge’s policies and services and resolution of guest complaints.
• Assigning duties to staff and schedule shifts
• Managing operations, restaurant and housekeeping teams.
• Reporting to owners
• Observe and monitor staff performance in order to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Perform marketing and public relations activities.
