We are currently recruiting for a full time Reservations Manager to join the team at Niseko Gourmet and Niseko Boutiques. The Reservations Managers responsibilities include: Manage reservations and payments for all catering and accommodation reservations Liaise directly with all customers in a timely manner to ensure all aspects of their holiday or catering experience have been planned for and organised Ensure all accommodation booking documentation is prepared for and signed off by customers before their arrival. Assist with check in and check out and supporting customers during their stay Create event orders for catering and effectively communicate events to all departments Assist with staff roster management Source and work with key booking companies and agencies, including those online, to increase bookings Recognise potential changes to services to drive more sales Understand and maintain booking policies or recognise changes that may need to be implemented to drive more sales Maintain the organisation of company documents in google drive Ensure the staff training manual, company handbook and software operational procedures are up to date, reflecting changes to processes as they are made within the business Assist with catering reservations, including set up and hosting, in the green season and during peak periods in the winter season Spend time with various departments to get to know the ins and outs of the business Update OTA’s, channel managers, website property management software to ensure properties are up to date Support the Directors during staff training weeks and continue to support staff members during the winter season to ensure they are doing the best job possible Employment details and package Start date: Immediately Remuneration: 220,000JPY/month April to September then 260,000JPY/month October to March with full pension and medical as required by Japanese laws Work Hours: Average 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, flexible Contract Length: 2 years, including 3 months probation Language: English with Japanese an advantage To apply please send your cover letter and curriculum vitae to Tess Stomski at tess.stomski@niseko-gourmet.com and John Toland john.toland@niseko-gourmet.com
