Sky Express & Sprint Taxi Manager

HTM, the largest management company in Niseko, Hokkaido is looking for an experienced professional to join our team and lead SkyExpress & Sprint Taxi! SkyExpress has just completed it's first winter of business since being acquired by HTM (previously it operated as Skybus for 10 years). Last winter SkyExpress was the largest provider of transfers, taxis and tours in Niseko. The SkyExpress & Sprint Taxi Manager position is a chance to build on the success of last winter with the support of HTM to drive a truly world class service. The Role: Operations Ongoing review and improvement of bus and taxi operations All buses and taxis are maintained and available for service All licenses are maintained and ensure that business is always able to run Budget Budget is agreed with General Manager and monitored regularly Sales results are reported weekly Operational costs are budgeted accurately and where possible costs are under target Customer Satisfaction Customer satisfaction is measured through regular feedback Negative feedback is treated appropriately and in a timely manner Skill requirements: Professional, courteous and friendly manner. Fluency in English and Japanese Experience managing Japanese staff Experience in dealing with a high-paced business and proven ability to react quickly and appropriately under pressure. Able to prioritise and organise work to achieve objectives and deadlines. Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite (essential), reservations systems experience (preferred) Experience and proven track record of high customer satisfaction Leadership or management experience in an operational role Travel or hospitality industry experience in an operations role. Transport industry bus/taxi company experience (preferred). Ability to live, work and drive in Japan Employment Package Details Employment Period: year round Employment Status: Ongoing contract.
