Tomo is a modern Izakaya based around a sharing concept and spirit. The menu and restaurant space is designed to bring people together around great food, drink and service. Tomo is looking for enthusiastic kitchen stewards to join our new restaurant team and provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. We are looking for easy going and like minded people to join our team. Kitchen Steward Job Duties Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organised at all times Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards Adhere to all sanitation guidelines Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures Cleans and maintains floors walls and other kitchen equipment by following standard procedures Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chief steward / stewarding manager Always maintain a clean and safe work environment Remain guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Help colleagues and ask for help when needed, jumping in if someone needs assistance (despite their role or section) while maintaining own section Kitchen Steward Skills and Qualifications Resume and references showing experience working in a kitchen is an advantage Ability to keep all work areas stocked and clean Employment: Seasonal - Nov/Apr Salary: ¥1,100/hour Working hours: 5 days a week/6-8 hours a day If you are interested in the position, please apply from or email to
