The Position: Our Front Desk staff are the first people to greet many of our customers, and are therefore integral in building a friendly, professional and competent initial impression of Hokkaido Tracks. The position also organises much of the day-to-day operations for our Resort Hosts who provide support to our holiday guests. Regular tasks include: ・ Communicating directly with guests by phone, email and face to face. ・ Organizing guest services (lift tickets, ski school, airport transfers, restaurant reservations, etc). ・ Collating and filing paperwork such as check in documents. ・ Running through daily checklists to ensure everything is completed and organized. ・ Occasionally taking cash and credit card payments, reporting funds received/spent. ・ Though this is primarily an office job, there will be times when Front Desk staff are required to assist with shuttle driving, check in/out, deliveries, etc. The Candidate: To be successful in this position you will need: • Valid work visa or be a Japanese resident • International or Japanese Driver’s license • Native English skills or business-level English as a second language • Customer service experience • Japanese or Chinese language skills are an advantage but not required Conditions: ・ Working hours: 28 – 35hours (Average 30 hours) ・ Short employment: Mid November – late February ・ Full season: Mid November – April Benefits: ・ Pay: 1,200 yen/hour ・ Hirafu lift pass ・ Subsidised staff accommodation in Kutchan ・ Possibility of permanent position for top performers To Apply Please apply here: https://www.hokkaidotracks.com/careers If you have any further question, please contact us : careers@hokkaidotracks.com and our team will get in touch to discuss this opportunity further. The Position: Our Resort Host staff are often the first to meet our holiday guests when they arrive in Niseko, driving them to their accommodation, checking them in, and answering any questions. Resort Hosts provide continued shuttle van service during the guest stay, including at check-out time. The position also involves checking and preparing accommodation for guests before arrival and assisting our Front Desk and Reservations teams to provide excellent customer service to our holiday guests. The Position: Our Snow Clearing staff maintain easy guest access to and from each of our managed properties, as well as protecting the structural integrity of the buildings by preventing large accumulation of snow. With an average of over 15m of snowfall a year, frequent and professional snow removal is essential to winter operations. Regular tasks include: ・ Removing snow from driveways, entrance paths and steps in the morning so guests can leave their accommodation without hassle. ・ Removing snow from balconies, decks and roofs during the day. This does require work at heights so is not suitable for people afraid of heights. ・ Acting as a back-up to help Resort Host staff when their schedule is too busy to cope with demand.
