Temperatures are edging down as we head into another Niseko winter. A fresh batch of pow to plow is being forecast for Saturday, and it should dump from the top of the hilly all the way down to the villy. Sadly, a wee bit of rain is also forecast to follow it up next Monday and Tuesday, so make sure you put aside some time over the weekend to get some early season pow slaying in. Is this a bad year; is this early season rain unusual? NO. It almost always rains a bit in Niseko in early December. The late opening of the resort was a bit uncommon, but the worst year I ever experienced in Niseko (2006 maybe?) still got like 9 or 10 meters of snow. Chill out. Stay frosty. Reminder: Opening Party at The Barn on Saturday from 8pm!
