Disaster relief aid for the Touhoku and Kantou tsunami affected areas.

ITEMS URGENTLY NEEDED: (as requested by evacuation centres)
CLOTHES: CHILDREN and ADULTS: winter jackets, coats, ski pants and any general clothing( preferably new or if used, must be in very good condition )
Blankets( preferably new but if used must be very clean and in good condition), thermal mats, tents, small portable stoves (and gas cylinders), wet wipes, boxed tissues, nappies/diapers for both children and the elderly, toilet paper.
All items collected at Momiji Gallery will be taken to the Niseko Town Choumin (community) centre on the 28th March, where they will be sorted and packed over the next 3-4 days. On Apri 2 the Self Defence Forces, jeitai, will transport the goods to the evacuation areas for distribution.

Location: Niseko Town Choumin centre, 2 Floor, Washitsu room, “Yotei”
Date and times: 28th March to 1st April, 10.00-12.00 and 6.00-8.00pm
Volunteers needed:
Volunteers are also needed to help sort and pack from 28th March to April 1st in the afternoons at the Niseko Town Choumin centre. If you can help, you need to bring a permanent marker, packing tape, large cardboard boxes and garbage bags larger than 45 litres.
