Accomodation options for winter 2011 to 2012 | Forum

Hi, Myself my girlfriend and mate are looking for some winter season accomodation in and around Niseko but am struggling to find some options. Any help appreciated. Graham

Hi Graham,

There should be plenty of accommodation about. Little more info please, just need to know:

1) ideal arrival and departure dates
2) number of guests
3) desired style of accomm (lodge, apartment, luxury)
4) rough budget

Most accommodation providers also provide guest services like rentals, lift passes, etc. Need any of that stuff?

Many thanks for your response here are my answers

1) ideal arrival and departure dates
arrival should be around the 18th to the 20th of december 2011

2) number of guests
1 couple and 1 guy .... so double room and a single

3) desired style of accomm (lodge, apartment, luxury)
ideally an apartment for just us ideally

4) rough budget
dependent upon accomodation quality but circa £180 - £260 per week -

we would need 2 season passes - for me and the girlfriend (my mate should be working in one of the ski schools

Hi!

I'm looking for exactly the same thing. Myself and my girlfriend are looking for a small apartment or a double room in shared accommodation. Like you we'll be here for the whole ski season.

We're not looking for luxury, but we would like to be right in the middle of the resort so we can walk to the lifts.

This forum seems to be the most logical place so far - although I have been given the advice to check with local estate agents .. which I am yet to do

Yeah the red ski house looks great. I've emailed them.

The only other place I've found is Owashi Lodge (www.owashilodge.com). A double room there comes in within my budget... My only concern is that it's a backpacker hostel so quite basic.
