I've actually only used this station once. Somebody hung their tidy wighties out to dry in the lobby. With visions of the movie Deliverance in my head, I embarked on a long habit of opting for Kutchan as my preferred eki.
Anyways, now that it's super famous, I may get off there next time I take the train, so I can enjoy a nice short refreshing walk, with my luggage, into Hirafu.
