Just got mine, have paged through it cover to cover, too much to absorb in one sitting, but I'm completely sold. IdeaPark's new pocket-sized Niseko ATLAS: The Ultimate Riders Guide to Niseko, kicks snow wookie azz. Completely bilingual, eye-popping graphics, impressive photography from difficult to reach vantage points, TONS of information. Newcomers to the area... you need this on you at all times. There's bit in it for the locals too, check the interview with Kuno-san, director of Grand Hirafu, explaining the gate system on page 54, and the interview with NWGA president Yutaka Takanashi on page 120. Accommodation providers: put these in your accommodation. Ground service operators: put these in your employees' pockets.

Where do you get one?

YC One- they will be around town or contact ideapark directly.

Good call admin.

The idea park crew worked tirelessly on this for two years, and the number of drafts, rewrites and reworks was stunning- all from the determination to create something useful and valuable to the niseko mountain community.
Hats off to them for bringing it all together, through elbow grease, perserverance and sheer willpower. Getting something like this off the ground in Niseko can be a hard task when you have so many language, governing bodies and various interests to navigate and sometimes overcome.
A simple little book but a big accomplishment.

Rocksteady.

Hats Off. Hard work and determination.
Strength and honor!

All Joking aside. This would have taken some major effort. If you asked me if this could be done before I saw it I would say yeah but it will take at least a generation to get the paper work through.

Awesome.
