Niseko may be one of the most earthquake-free zones in Japan, but [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Sendai_earthquake_and_tsunami]this one[/url] was hard to ignore. Of course my thoughts and prayers are with friends and family in the Sendai area, but I also have to wonder before heading up on the mountain tomorrow... how might this effect the snowpack? Anybody have any idea?
