Hi Xmas, are you located here? You can always go to the Kutchan or Niseko town office and ask the best way to file a complaint.
Not aware of any advocates, I have some friends in the resort who've been waiting for promised payments from deadbeat ex-employers for almost 2 years now.
@Powzel: we were working on a lodge roof with maximum snow load.
"no need for safety equipment."
when the roof avalanched i had to run, jump, and dive for the chimney.
i wouldn't consider dog watching a near-death experience.
@admin: O, pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth,
that i am meek and gentle with these butchers!
thou art the ruins of the noblest man
that ever lived in the tide of times.
Woe to the hand that shed this costly blood!
Over they wounds now do i prophecy,--
which, like dumb mouths do ope their ruby lips,
To beg the voice and utterance of my tongue--
A curse shall light upon the limbs of men,
Domestic fury and fierce civil strife
Shall cumber all the parts of [name removed];
Blood and destruction shall be so in use
and dreadful objects so familiar
that mothers shall but smile when they behold
their infants quarter'd with the hands of war;
All pity choked with the custom of fell deeds:
And Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge,
with Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
with carrion men, groaning for burial.

if anything can be done, they'll know what.
i reckon nobody can live off of 800 yen in Niseko, but sadly that's the going wage in Hokkaido for a lot of jobs. average wages for reservation staff etc has dropped in half since when I used to carry buckets and wear a monkey suit at HT, and that was before staff needed to be trilingual. best to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit I guess, get out there and hustle, job security is better when you're your own boss!
