"Raindrops are falling on my head..." 2 seasons ago an elderly gent in Kutchan proper told me that it was the first time he had seen rain in Kutchan in January in 30 years. Well let me tell you that this is the first time I've seen rain in January since last year. And the year before that. [/img]

I have had the same conversations up on the mountain this year. I can't wait to see how the spin doctors will work on this one.

Prepare for more rain tomorrow. 8 degrees! I'm going to wear Hawaii shorts and a wifebeater.

holy sh*t this is bad timing by mother nature

this week is crucial to the health and indeed survival of niseko as a resort

if you like this lifestyle and want to continue to be able to pursue it in Japan- stoke a guest out this week -however possible.
the snow aint doing us any favours and if this week passes and all the Aussies/HK go back home and say it was shit and Niseko is expensive/boring/lame- we could be f*cked. So lets best foot forward, be super nice to the punters, and make sure everyone enjoys their time here irregardless.

I want to win back that damn touch trophy this year- and at the rate things are going , it`ll be a ghost town round here.

my 2 cents

Well didn`t mother nature just shut my big mouth?

two sunny days to get everyone`s feet under them then a four day puke-a-thon to finish off the week?

I knew you still loved us sweet mama.
