Trivia results - August 2009

Thanks to everyone who turned up and participated in the Hirafu Pub trivia quiz night at Paddy’s Irish pub. A great turn out with a full house. Next time it might be BYO chairs! There were about 55 participants in the quiz night, with spectators to boot. There were 13 teams and the competition was strong. Big Boys took home a cash prize jackpot of over Y27,000. Second place getters were Get Smart. They each won their entry money back and a couple of bottles of wine. Lamda Lamda Lamda took home third place – each receiving a t-shirt each, generously donated by Liam Bartley of Captain Hirafu pension, Nisade, and Paddy’s. There was even a prize for the best team name. That title went to the team called ‘The best team name’ . They received a Gourmet Sekka deli pack donated by Sekka Deli – now open for summer business. Back by popular demand, the next trivia night will be held in September so keep your eyes and ears out. It will be a better and improved trivia night.
