The Assistant Manager of Guest Services is a great opportunity to grow a career in accommodation management in Niseko. The Guest Services Assistant Manager will be a guide for buyers and sellers in this dynamic and interesting market.
TAIGA provides a comprehensive range of services in Niseko, from accommodation management, real estate sales to project design & management. We are a tight knit collection of Niseko enthusiasts, and are looking for a positive team player to play an active and long-term role in our company.
• Oversee operations for Guest Services team, assigning who does check-in, pick up etc.
• Handling guest enquiries, including owner stays, and assist selling allotments and create promotion on OTAs and Roomboss
• Accounting tasks related to accommodation.
• Verification and processing of invoices from vendors/supplies
• Check delivered items/mail
• Administrative tasks for seasonal staff employment
• Other general affairs
• Upbeat and sunny team player
• Bilingual in English and Japanese
• Experience supervising staff, able to give instructions
• Experience in hospitality industry (guest services, customer services), understands the industry with a hospitality mindset, great with people in general (guests/owners/vendors/suppliers/staff)
• Can multi task
• Strong communication skills, able to report/liaise internally
• Good with admin work(word, excel, and ppt) and numbers (invoicing, manage cash etc)
• Has drivers license
• Preferrable if flexible with the schedule
Working Hours
40 hours per week, 8 Hours per day, 2 days off per week, paid overtime.
¥290,000~310,000/ per month depending on skills and experience
One year contract position, with the option of subsequently becoming full time staff.
Holidays: Approximately 120 days off per year, 10 days paid vacation per year after 6 months of employment.
Staff Accommodation : Hirafu or Kabayama
Full set of social insurance enrollment according to the law
