About the role We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on team member to join our Maintenance and Operations crew at The Niseko Company. In this role, you'll help with the day-to-day upkeep of our rental and private properties — from luxury villas to cozy homes — making sure everything is running smoothly and safely for our guests and owners. It's a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in practical work, enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, and is looking to be part of a friendly, supportive work environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team. While local residents are preferred, we’re open to offering subsidized housing for the right person. Main tasks Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with some flexibility, if needed) Carry out minor repairs, touch-ups, and general maintenance across a range of high-end, luxury properties Assist with occasional ad-hoc tasks, including errands and light administrative duties as required Requirements: JP Driver's License or valid International Drivers Permit for Japan Computer knowledge Word, Excel, Google forms Familiarity with and proper use of power tools (circular saws, chainsaws, weed whackers, etc.) Handyman knowledge - Minor fixing of various components of a house Familiarity with the Niseko area/Live in the surrounding area Offer 1600y/hr Start date: immediate Open to a year round employment Please email a brief cover letter and your CV to Travis at travis.carter@thenisekocompany.com.
