We are a small incoming operator focused on bringing people from Europe to enjoy skiing on Hokkaido. For the 2018/2019 season, we are looking for a substitute guide with an opportunity to become a permanent member of our team.
Must haves:
- local terrain knowledge (Niseko/Sapporo area)
- guiding experience (both freeride and back country/touring)
- avalanche awareness knowhow
- eligible for driving in Japan
- fluent English
- client orientation
- proactive person willing to go the extra mile (such as recommending/booking a restaurant/onsen... and driving/picking up clients etc.
- flexibility
Nice to haves:
- German or Japanese language skills
- knowledge of the central Hokkaido terrains
We offer:
- for a start around 10 - 20 guiding days in a season with possibility of extension to full time employment (60 guiding days throughout the end of Dec to mid March)
