Company: Vacation Niseko Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan Position: Full Time Job Title: Agent Reservations Officer; Reporting to: Sales Manager Hours: 40hrs per week Job Start: April 1st, 2016 - negotiable if needed Company Profile NMS / Vacation Niseko manages 21 properties with a total of 107 units in the Niseko area. NMS employs 17 full-time staff year round to handle its various operations. This increases to over 100 people during the winter season. In 2015, NMS undertook a rebranding exercise to improve communication with its various stakeholders. The new brand Vacation Niseko represents the core business more effectively and is a clear statement that we are fundamentally a holiday provider. Job Description Working within our sales team and reporting to the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be inbound sales of holidays to agents and assisting them with the booking process. This involves extensive email and telephone communication and occasionally face to face contact with agents. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the booking of accommodation, additional services and responding to all agent enquiries. You may also be expected to contribute to website, blog, newsletter and other marketing content as part of the Sales and Marketing team. As most agents speak English there is a clear need to communicate clearly and concisely in both spoken and written English. Excellent oral and written Japanese skills are also strongly desired for inter-office and summer guest communication. Primary Objectives - Co-ordinate and control our important agent relationships and ensure bookings are carried out efficiently and enquiries are handled promptly. - Help agents to contribute to the overall business success of the NMS business. - Contribute to the overall functioning of the Sales and Marketing team.
