Bi-lingual Position in Rental Shop

Bi-lingual staff member required (English / Japanese) – Rentals / retail sales Larry Adler Rent A Ski has a customer service position available for a person who has good bi-lingual skills. Your main responsibility will be for the safe and accurate set up of our guests’ ski and snowboard equipment, but we are also looking for someone who can assist us with our day to day contacts with Japanese speaking tradespeople, guests and business contacts . Complete guest satisfaction is our primary goal. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, experienced staff member to help our guests have a wonderful snow holiday experience. Preferred Skills & Abilities • Strong bi-lingual language ability in Japanese and English • Holder of a Japan or International Driver’s License (snow driving experience is an advantage) • Ski and snowboard technician skills • Retail and point of sale experience (preferred but not essential) Personal Attributes Required • Energetic, confident, can-do attitude • Totally reliable in attendance and punctuality • High appearance standards • Exceptional customer service skills • Mature, flexible approach • Genuine passion for assisting people • Highly organised Visa Requirements • Must be eligible to work in Japan (be a Japanese permanent resident or possess a Japan Working Holiday Visa. Proof of visa is required at commencement of your employment.) Remuneration Package • 1200 JPY per hour • Average 36 – 40 hours per week during peak season, with fluctuation in hours depending upon business levels • Subsidised staff housing (if requested) including all utilities and wifi • Use of company vehicles for grocery shopping and accessing resort areas during time off • Free equipment rentals • Family and friends discounts on rentals Employment Dates • Mid November to late March / early April
