Black Wood Grill is looking to hire individuals with a passion for food and service! Various positions are available. Kitchen Staff ( Fresh graduates welcome, extensive training will be provided by a very experienced Chef) * Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (shift times may vary by season) * Variable Transportation allowance (Depending on the distance) * Paid overtime * Health, social, and employment insurance * Staff accommodation available * 1 Year contract, conversion to full-time possible Part-time Kitchen Staff (Breakfast) * Hourly Wage: (1,400円 to 1,600円) will vary depending on experience and skills * Variable Transportation allowance (Depending on the distance) * Work hours: approximately 4 to 6 hours a shift * 3 to 5 days a week (Morning - between 5.30 am to 11 am) Part-time Service Staff * Hourly Wage: (1,300円 to 1,500円) will vary depending on experience and skills * Spoken Japanese and English- being able to effectively serve both Japanese and international customers would be a big advantage * Variable Transportation allowance (Depending on the distance) * Work hours: approximately 4 to 6 hours a shift * Working days in a week - flexible * Shifts - Mornings between 0630 to 1100 or evenings - between 1700 to 2200 are both available Qualifications Passionate about hospitality service. Restaurant service experience. Professional attitude with a courteous and friendly manner. Punctual. Team player with excellent communication skills. Restaurant Service Supervisor * Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (shift times may vary by season) * Variable Transportation allowance (Depending on the distance) * Health, social, and employment insurance * Staff accommodation available * 1 Year contract, conversion to full-time possible Requirements Experience in a supervisory/ senior service role at a hotel restaurant for a minimum of 2 years. Read & write Japanese. Able to speak English. Ability and experience working with to a culturally diverse range of customers & co-workers. Superior customer service skills. Working knowledge of wine, bar, and barista areas along with restaurant floor service. Able to prioritize and organize work independently to meet deadlines.
