Caldera is a new restaurant located in Niseko with menu, space and concept carefully curated by Michelin starred co-founder, Chef Matt Abergel of Yardbird Hong Kong. The food menu celebrates Hokkaido’s homegrown natural resources, with fresh seafood, roasted meats, and local vegetables served in family-style sharing formats. The space and concept are similarly designed to be fun, warm and inviting, providing the perfect dining environment for small intimate groups to larger sized festive gatherings. We are currently looking to build a strong Front of House team for seasonal and year round roles. At Caldera we value positive attitudes and a desire to learn. No experience required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Include: Daily setup and breakdown of public spaces, including: dining areas, bar, washrooms, and patio Assist the Kitchen Team to prepare/pack daily takeout orders Provide guests with thoughtful and welcoming hospitality, including, but not limited to: greeting guests, taking orders, providing recommendations and maintaining tables Remain flexible to fill in additional roles as needed (ie: runner/expeditor) Employment: Winter Season 2023-2024 or Full Year Salary: ¥1,500/hour (negotiable based on experience) Working hours: 5 days per week/ 8-10 hours per day Requirements : Must have Japanese Working Holiday Visa, or other visas with work permission in Japan Bilingual English/Japanese preferred but not required Benefits Accomodation: Access to staff accommodation close to the ski hills Tips: To be distributed monthly across the team Staff meal: 1 staff meal per day Lift ticket: Hirafu/ Hanazono Lift ticket provided Please send CV to gracegong@moregoodhk.com
