Niseko Management Service (NMS) is the trusted property manager for almost 100 residences in the Niseko area. Founded in 2006, NMS has many years of experience in the Niseko area, managing all types of properties from single houses to large 40+ unit condominium buildings.
NMS is part of Nihon Harmony Resorts KK (NHR) group, which owns and operates the Hanazono ski area in Niseko. NHR is a 100% owned subsidiary of Pacific Century Premium Developments (PCPD) in Hong Kong. NHR is one of Niseko’s most prominent owners and operators of tourism and leisure services in the Niseko area, including ski lifts, snow sports school, snow sports rental, white water rafting, golf and retail.
NMS offers a complete suite of property and reservation management services in Niseko. NMS maintains longstanding relationships with local contractors, facility management companies, and local government bodies, which allows NMS to offer he highest quality property management services at the most competitive prices in the Niseko. Services include building maintenance, account management, holiday letting and development consulting.
NMS have a retailer called Niseko Powder Connection, which is a holiday provider. NPC can book properties and services across the resort and this is a significant business all year round but particularly in the winter season.
Job Role
Manage the Guest Services Department which involves both dealing with retail customers and managing staff. The role will include but is not necessarily limited to the following:
Schedule staff and ensuring a full guest service is available as per published schedule
Handle check ins and check outs
Provide information and assistance to guests as required
Communicate with other departments as required within the NMS organisation
Provide training and coaching to staff as required
Ensure that the guest services operation is smooth and solve issues as they occur
Handle selling of guest services
Develop extensive knowledge of NMS customer service practises and products and be able to explain them to customers and staff
Job Requirements
Ideally a Japanese national with high-level English skills - high level Japanese is a must
Several years of experience in a guest services or hotel environment
High level of professionalism and communication skills
Good knowledge of the Niseko resort
Contract Details
Start date: Latest November 2014 (initially a one year contract)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
