Hello, all! I've been told that this was a great place to network, so I'd like to do so! I'm looking to put myself out and about in the Niseko jobs market. I've got nearly 3 years of solid hospitality experience in Australia, including 1.5 years at an international hotel. I speak English and Italian fluently, and I speak Japanese to an hospitality-acceptable degree. Do hotels look for staff on this site, or is it a case of them putting forward available positions and people pouncing on the spaces? Kind regards, and thanks Angus angus.morrison@live.com

Hi Angus, thanks for stopping in. In general, hospitality hiring really begins in earnest towards autumn, as companies prepare for the winter influx, but if you're coming into town sooner there is usually other work around. The property management companies who do summer booking often have need for bilingual staff, that's an option.
