NEST AT THE TREES is currently looking for a reservations Supervisor to join the team! Employment Dates: Immediately Available Position: Reservations Supervisor (Full-time) Role: Reservations Supervisor Duty: The duty of the Reservations Supervisor is to professionally and effectively manage customer inquiries and to convert sales opportunities that emerge with guests and customers interactions that ultimately contribute to hotel profitability. The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for creating a seamless, enjoyable experience for the guest before their stay, and is expected to work closely with the Front Desk team to ensure the same during their stay. Job Description: - Responds to all guest inquiries pertaining to rates, availability and services coming through Nest at The Trees email, & within 24 hours. - Takes reservations using the hotel reservation system, ensuring maximum occupancy and rates are obtained. - Assists with booking and arrangement of all third party services (transport, rentals, activities etc.) for guests, made before &/or during guest’s stay - Increase NATT revenue derived from third party commissions by actively promoting and selling these services, products and activities and facilitating bookings done via NATT - Ensure effective and close daily communication with Front Desk communication on booking inquiries and booking confirmations. - Liaises with Front Desk team to ensure seamless guest check-ins - Maintains a thorough knowledge of the room rates, room types, amenities, facilities, services, hours of operation, partners, vendors and activities. - Responds to all guest requests prior to check-in promptly. - Works with the Front Desk team to ensure flawless, professional and enjoyable guest service experiences. - Provides support and assistance to the Front Desk team as required - Collects, analyzes and reports customer feedback, and provides strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating. - Ensure proper and thorough adherence to NATT’s CMS process by maintaining own system knowledge and proficiency; system training; providing feedback on system performance and identifying and referring issues and/or reports for further development - Trains reservations team (including seasonal staff) on standard operating procedures, workflow & relevant systems - Displays a pro-active and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures and skill development. - In general, performs any other duties that may be requested by hotel management to cover unexpected needs of the hotel. Remuneration: - Start at 275,000 JPY, based on experience.
