ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Assistant to support the day-to-day coordination between guest services teams, local partners, and internal operations. The role involves hands-on support to ensure guest requests are executed smoothly and properties are maintained to required operational standards. This is a full-time, year-round position based in Kutchan, Hokkaido.
MAIN TASKS
Support daily Guest Services operations by arranging transportation, restaurant reservations, and guest activities with Japanese partners
Coordinate closely with Japanese-speaking and English-speaking team members to ensure smooth and efficient cross-department operations
Assist with the handling and confirmation of bookings for Japanese guests (mainly during the summer season)
Request quotations, follow up, and coordinate logistics with Japanese suppliers and contractors
Place and track orders with Japanese vendors and partners for operational items such as consumables, linen, and amenities
Identify and research new suppliers, and liaise with local contractors for property maintenance, repairs, and improvement works to ensure chalets are maintained to operational standards
