Work Hours: Average of 25-30 hours per week during peak season, less in the shoulder season’s dependent on snow conditions & business demand.
Accommodation: Lodge style accommodation available starting at 16’000 JPY per week all inclusive.
About us
Rhythm Japan has been operating since 2005 and since has grown into one of Japan’s most successful ski and snowboard rental and retail outlets. There are two main stores which are based in Niseko and Hakuba. Although there are about 30 staff employed year-round, each winter we require over 100 additional staff in Niseko and 50 additional staff in Hakuba to assist us in keeping up with customer demands for the best service and rental and retail equipment in town. Your New Role
As Rhythm Japan’s Accounts Administration Assistant you will support the Head of Finance with all relevant administration and coordination related to the accounting department. Additionally, you will be required to manage the general organization of the warehouse office, to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Job Duties
Office Administration
Manage incoming phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
Assist the Accounts Administration Coordinator to keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Assist the Accounts Administration Coordinator to manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
Assist the Accounts Administration Coordinator to support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
Assist the Accounts Administration Coordinator to create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
Assist in Japanese to English or vice versa translation as required
Ensure files are stored in an organized manner
Assist with other office administration duties as requested
Accounts Administration
Enter invoices/sales invoices to the accounting system
Upload scanned files to the accounting system
Manage cash expenses
Reconcile any cash expenses and enter into the accounting system
Cross check sales proceeds and credit card settlements
Manage the banking process from end to end
Ensure the floats are balanced
File sales records including credit card receipts
Assist with other accounts administration as required
