We invite you to join our team and be a part of this exciting journey. ________________________________________ Job Overview The Accounting Officer will support the Senior Finance Manager and handle accounting tasks related to hotel operations and condominium owners, helping to provide excellent hospitality at Setsu Niseko. We are looking for both full-time or part-time candidates for this role. ________________________________________ Responsibilities (for both full-time and part-time positions) • Perform daily accounting tasks, including entering data into accounting systems and managing sales and deposits. • Handle general banking activities and payment processing. • Coordinate billing tasks, work with internal teams, and prepare invoices and related documents. • Manage cash, withdrawal receipts, petty cash, and other financial items. • Process advances, travel expenses, and reimbursements. • Assist with monthly and annual closing activities, including audit tasks. • Support tasks such as audit communication, compliance, and preparing reports for the Hong Kong HQ. • Organize and manage documents. • Perform other related duties as needed. Reports to: Senior Finance Manager ________________________________________ Qualifications / Requirements (for both full-time and part-time positions) • Preferred: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping (Level 3). Experience in a seasonal resort is a plus. • Basic knowledge of PC applications (e.g., Excel). • Ability to read and speak conversational Japanese. • Able to adapt to changing tasks and work efficiently. • Proactive and able to set and achieve goals independently. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well across departments. • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Punctual and considerate of colleagues. ________________________________________ Standard Working Hours • Full-time: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour break). • Part-time: 5 or 6 hours per day, 5 days a week (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). ________________________________________ Employment Benefits • Full-time: o Monthly salary: 230,000 - 260,000 yen (plus annual discretionary bonus). o Paid statutory holidays: 10 days after 6 months of employment, 11 days after 1 year and 6 months. o Discounts on various group products, such as ski rentals, ski school, and golf. o Individual Seasonal HANAZONO Grand Hirafu lift pass. o Japanese Health Insurance and Pension as required by law. o Commuting allowance up to 45,000 yen per month. o Retirement plan after 10 years of service. o Relocation assistance (up to 200,000 yen for those relocating from outside Hokkaido, or 100,000 yen from within Hokkaido). • Part-time: o Hourly wage: 1,500 yen per hour. o Commuting allowance up to 45,000 yen per month. o Individual Seasonal HANAZONO Grand Hirafu lift pass. o Discounts on various group products, such as ski rentals, ski school, and golf. o Japanese Health Insurance and Pension as required by law. o Paid annual leave after 6 months of employment. ________________________________________ If you are interested in either the full-time or part-time position, please send your resume and cover letter to: careers@setsuniseko.com
