FRONT DESK OFFICER POSITION DETAILS Contract: Winter seasonal Staff for 2024-2025 Working Hours: 32-40 hours per week (4-5 days per week). Work between 6:00-25:00 on an 8-hour shift per day Contract Period: 1st December 2024- 28th February / 31st March 2025 (possible extension, the work term is negotiable) Wage: Competitive Wage (Wage for last year was¥1,500~¥1,600) Job Role As a front desk officer, you are considered to be the frontline and the face of the Vacation Niseko brand. Your responsibility starts the moment the guests check-in, assist with their in-house guest requests and inquiries, and until the day they check out. You must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written. You must be a good team player and must be willing to work with a team. Key Responsibilities - Assist with driving/transporting guests within the village where required. This includes but not limited to, pick up/drop off service to and from the Hirafu Welcome Centre. - Perform check-ins and check-outs. - Manage guests and property owner inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely manner. - Responsible for responding to both phone and email enquiry from guests and property owner - Carry out daily tasks assigned by the management team and report any discrepancies or problems to Front Desk Supervisor and/or Front Desk Manager - Ensuring that the front desk, lobby, and other common areas are immaculately clean and presentable for both guests and owners. - Full knowledge about Niseko and its neighboring towns. Capability to recommend winter resort activities, restaurants, events, and other services when needed. - Work closely with relevant departments to ensure all guest requests and inquiries will be carried out properly in a timely manner to avoid any service complaints.
