The first solid snow of the season is here and it looks like its going to keep falling on and off for the next few days. Temperatures will remain cold enough to carry into the official opening day and it could be the best one in a few years. A nice reward for all the excited new arrivals who have been staring up at the mountain wondering when and if it will stop raining while also giving locals a chance to say " I told you so" like the wise old farmhands we all long to be.
